PEOPLE PARTICULARLY APPRECIATE OUR OPEN MANNER
“They give us a very special feeling of gratitude. To feel and experience their joy – one of the most beautiful things there is!”

We have already welcomed many people with disabilities, including wheelchair users, and provided them with unforgettable flying experiences. It is important to us that everyone is in safe and supportive hands with us.
No matter what challenge you bring with you - we will make sure that you can take off with us. It is important that you book by e-mail to marketing@windwerk.ch or by telephone on 052 511 80 40.
We prefer off-peak times and make a note of this internally for our instructors. This ensures optimal support.
If you are unsure or have any questions, please contact us.
Here is an overview of the impairments that can generally be flown with:
True to our motto "Anyone can fly", we have been having some amazing experiences for some time now with people who cannot easily spend a few carefree hours in the Windwerk due to their disabilities. We now know: There are no limits! Together with Bine Hirsiger (founder of the Challenge Camps Association and professional flyer), we therefore organize a free event several times a year.
This year’s vacation week theme was “Superheroes” – from Batman and Superman to everyday superheroes such as the police, fire department, ambulance service and bus drivers.
What impressed us during the application process was that the counselors consider their students to be the greatest superheroes because they master their lives with all kinds of special features. They have to face numerous tasks every day, overcome many obstacles in everyday life, fight against being different and sometimes even fight for survival because their bodies are not healthy. Our invitation came at just the right time.
Muscular dystrophy is the overarching term for a group of very different, chronic diseases of the skeletal muscles that are accompanied by a progressive loss of functional muscle substance. The cause of muscle atrophy in all of these diseases is damage to the muscle cells, which is still untreatable and can progress to the complete destruction of the affected muscles.
With this campaign, we want to show that, despite physical limitations, many things are possible that would be unthinkable for some.
Don’t limit yourself!
The course was organized by CAB (Swiss Caritas Action for the Blind). Thank you very much for this great opportunity!
